Real-World Experience
When I first met the Nilfgaardian officer, I was terrified. They were ruthless and heartless, but they spared my life. I didn’t understand why at first, but then I realized they needed information. I gave them what they wanted, and they let me go.
Everyday Use
I’m not proud of what I did, but I’m grateful that the Nilfgaardian officer let me live. I know what it’s like to be on the other side, and I don’t ever want to go back. I use my experience to help others avoid making the same mistakes I did. I talk to kids about the dangers of joining gangs, and I work with victims of violence to help them heal. I know that I can’t change the past, but I can help to make the future better.
